🏡Updated property values for the Town of Ferrisburgh’s 2026/2027 town wide reassessment are now available online. Nearly all properties may see a change in assessed value as part of the first full reappraisal since 2012/2013.

➡️ Once you have entered your information (property owner name or Parcel ID with this format 00/00/00 - only pick one box to submit - and your property record appears on the screen, you may choose to view either the 2025 Data or the 2026 Data for comparison.

Ferrisburgh Listers

**2025/2026 Tyler Technologies Town wide Reappraisal Link**

The Board of Listers and Town Assessor are responsible for the overall maintenance of the Grand List (a comprehensive list of all the properties in Ferrisburgh). This includes maintaining accurate property information including ownership, addresses, acreage, and the assessed values for every property in town. The Grand List is set on April 1 of each year. Any sales, transfers, or changes made after April 1 won’t reflect on tax bills issued for the coming fiscal year. Tax bills will be mailed to the owner of the parcel as of April 1.

🏠 Property Assessments & The Grand List

The Town Assessor and Board of Listers are responsible for maintaining the Ferrisburgh Grand List, a comprehensive record of all town properties. This includes ensuring accurate data for ownership, acreage, and the fair market value of every parcel. Please look at your Property Information Card (Listers/Assessor Card) for your information. The Selectboard hired Vermont Municipal Assessors as our Town Assessor in February 2026.

⚖️ Understanding the Grievance Process

If you believe your property's assessed value is incorrect, you have the right to file a grievance.

Listers’ Grievance: This is the initial formal step. Homeowners must submit a written grievance and Ferrisburgh's Grievance Appeal Form by the annual deadline by June 19, 2026. Grievance Hearings for 2026 are June 23, 24, 25, & 26 9am - 4pm by appointment only. Please leave a message after filing paperwork to schedule at 802-877-3429 x7 or email reappraisal.ferrisburgh@gmail.com. 

Board of Civil Authority (BCA): If you disagree with the Listers' decision, you may appeal to the BCA (composed of the Town Clerk, Selectboard, and Justices of the Peace) within 14 days of the Listers' decision notice.

State or Court Appeal: Further appeals can be made to the Vermont Department of Taxes (State Appraiser) or the Superior Court within 30 days of the BCA’s decision.
