Ferrisburgh Selectboard
The Selectboard serves as the elected governing body of the Town of Ferrisburgh. The board is responsible for overseeing town operations, setting municipal policies, managing the town budget, and guiding decisions that support the community’s long-term wellbeing.
The Selectboard works closely with town staff, committees, and residents to ensure Ferrisburgh remains a well-managed and vibrant place to live and work. Community participation is an important part of local government, and residents are encouraged to attend meetings and share their input.
Meeting Schedule
The Selectboard meets twice each month on the first and third Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m.
Location:
Town Hall and Community Center - use main entrance and meetings held in downstairs meeting room.
All meetings are open to the public.

Meeting agendas and approved minutes are available for public review on our website. Please view the column on the left to find agendas in the last year and minutes going back to 2020. To view meeting minutes prior to 2020 please come into the office.
Residents can view:
- Upcoming meeting agendas & packets
- Approved meeting minutes
- Supporting documents when available
(Meeting agendas are posted prior to each meeting on Friday afternoons- no amendments can be made after 12pm.)

Think of the Selectboard Chair as the "point person" for your town's executive branch. You contact them when you want to get an issue on a meeting agenda, officially weigh in on town policy, or resolve concerns about local services like roads and public safety. Since they lead the board that manages the town’s budget and staff, they are your direct line to making sure your voice is heard in local government decisions. Public Participation
Residents are welcome to attend Selectboard meetings and participate during designated public comment periods. Public input helps inform decisions and ensures that community perspectives are considered.
If you would like to speak at a meeting, please:
- Attend the meeting in person or on zoom
- Wait for the public comment portion of the agenda
- State your name for the record
