Property Tax Bills Mailed out Monday Afternoon 7/27/2026

🚨 Property Tax Bills Have Been Mailed! 🚨
The Town of Ferrisburgh's 2026–2027 property tax bills were mailed on Monday, July 27, 2026.
This year's tax bills reflect two important changes:
* The Town completed a town-wide reappraisal to bring all properties to approximately 100% of fair market value.
* The municipal tax rate was reduced by $200,000 through the use of undesignated funds approved during the budget process, helping lessen the tax burden on property owners.
As a result, many residents will notice changes in their property's assessed value. While assessments may have increased due to the reappraisal, the municipal tax rate decreased from **$0.4149** last year to **$0.2262** this year (per $100 of assessed value).

Please keep an eye on your mailbox and review your bill carefully when it arrives. If you do not receive your bill within the next 7–10 days, please contact the Town Treasurer's Office. If you don't pay your bill directly please be sure to notify your bank/escrow company to be sure that they have your new tax bill as well.

**Important Reminders:**
* Tax bills are mailed to the owner of record as of April 1, 2026.
* The first payment is due September 1, 2026.
* Property owners are responsible for payment by the due date, even if a bill is not received.
* If you recently purchased property, please ensure you have received a copy of the bill from the seller or closing attorney.

Redacted tax bills are located under Departments -> Town Treasurer -> Property Tax Bills
