Dog Licenses & Animal Control

🐾 Dog Licensing Rules

• All dogs 6 months or older must be licensed annually.
• Deadline: April 1 each year.
• Licensing is done through the Town Clerk’s Office in Ferrisburgh.
• You must provide a current rabies vaccination certificate when applying.

💰 License Fees (due by April 1)

• Spayed/Neutered dogs: $11
• Unspayed/Unneutered dogs: $15

⏰ Late Fee

• If you license your dog after April 1, there is an additional $2 late fee.

🏷️ Tags

• Dogs must wear:
• Their town license tag
• Their rabies tag
• This applies whenever the dog is off the owner’s property.

🐱 Other Animals

• Cats and other animals do NOT require licensing.
